PALACE OF THE POPES

​The Palace of the Popes is a must-see for any first-time visitor. Avignon was the center of the Catholic Church and the home of the Pope from 1305 - 1378. The Palace of the Popes and the old city of Avignon make Avignon the second-most-visited city in France. Perfectly combined with dinner or lunch at the adjacent La Mirande Hotel in their garden with a view of the Palace.

CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE

The famous castle and domaines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape are just fifteen minutes north of the Mas. Take a beautiful drive through the vineyards, view the castle, or let us arrange a wine tasting.

ABBAYE DE SÉNANQUE

The picturesque Abbaye de Sénanque is gorgeous to see even if you only take the drive down the mountain road and see it from the road/distance. Founded in 1148 by Cistercian Monks, the abbaye is beautiful and the lavender make it spectacular.

GORDES

Gordes is a lovely hilltop village. The view of the village on the ride in is spectacular and not to be missed. Combine your visit to Gordes with lunch at La Bastide de Gordes and a drive down the hill to Abbaye de  Sénanque.

PONT DU GARD

See the magnificent Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the longest standing Roman aquaduct in the world.

CARRIÈRES DE LUMIÈRES LES BAUX

Carrières de Lumières Les Baux is a large quarry with art expositions illuminated on the walls in Les Baux. Combine with a visit to Les Baux.

LES BAUX-DE-PROVENCE

Les Baux-de-Provence is a charming Roman hilltop fortress. Visit the castle at the top with spectacular views and activities for children. There are many restaurants and shops along the path to the top of the village.
